Galvanized Steel

​The surface of the steel sheet is coated with a layer of metallic zinc to form a physical and chemical barrier to prevent corrosion. This zinc-coated steel sheet is called galvanized sheet.

There are two types of galvanized steel available, hot dip galvanized and electro galvanized. The main difference between these two types is the production method. 

Hot dip galvanized steel sheet. The sheet steel is immersed in a molten zinc bath, and a sheet of zinc is adhered to its surface. 

Electro-galvanized steel sheet. The galvanized steel sheet produced by the electroplating method has good workability. 

Galvanized sheet has good paint adhesion and weldability. Its products are mainly used in construction, light industry automotive and other industries.

Application

Galvanized steel has diverse applications in the automotive sector. It otters essential features like corrosion resistance arid durability for structural components and bodywork. 

Galvanized steel’s abrasiGn resistance and aesthetics make it an excellent material for automotive parts such as car bodies and exhaust systems. 

Galvanized steel also provides high strength, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance for manufacturing components like screws, nuts, hooks, and brackets. Galvanized stool’s advantages protect automobiles from external factors and extend their service life.
