Aluminium and aluminium alloy sheets, strips and plates
Among the few lightweight automotive materials, aluminum has become the most used lightweight metal material in the automotive industry with its unique performance advantages. Almost all the world's major automobile companies are competing to develop aluminum body parts or all-aluminum bodies. The 6000 series aluminum alloys contain magnesium and silicon, and sometimes copper, making them heat-treatable and suitable for exterior car panels.
