Non-oriented Electrical Steel
Non-oriented silicon steel is a kind of ferrosilicon alloy with low carbon content. The grain distribution in the deformed and annealed steel plates is irregular. The silicon content of the alloy is 1.5% ~ 3%, or the sum of silicon and aluminum content is 1.8% ~ 4.0%. The product is usually cold rolled sheet or strip with a nominal thickness of 0.35 and 0.5mm, which is mainly used in the manufacture of electric motors and generators.
