TRANSFORMER CORE & COMPONENT MANUFACTURING

From Precision-Cut Laminations to Assembled Components

MOOPEC supports transformer-component manufacturing from precision-cut CRGO laminations to assembled laminated cores, wound-core configurations, semi-finished active parts and custom HV/LV windings.

Manufacturing Support for Your Required Delivery Stage

Customers do not always require the same delivery stage. Some projects need prepared laminations, others need an assembled core, a wound-core configuration, a semi-finished active part or a winding package. MOOPEC reviews the drawing, material, transformer type, voltage class, capacity, dimensions, target performance, inspection plan and destination before defining the supply scope.

Transformer Core Manufacturing Flow

StepManufacturing StageProcess Description
01Precision blankingPrepare CRGO laminations to the customer drawing and cutting plan.
02Lamination stackingBuild the required core geometry in the specified stacking sequence.
03Alignment and fit-upControl lamination alignment, joint fit and core dimensions before final assembly.
04Clamping and assemblySecure the core according to the specified construction and delivery requirement.
05Dimensional inspectionCheck critical dimensions and assembly condition before release.

Deep Processing

Extended Manufacturing Scope

01
Semi-Finished Active Parts

For projects that require fewer production interfaces, MOOPEC can coordinate core processing, winding integration, active-part assembly and inspection within an agreed semi-finished transformer scope. The quotation should define the included components, customer-supplied information, assembly stage, inspection points, documentation and packing method.

02
Custom HV & LV Windings

MOOPEC produces custom high-voltage and low-voltage windings according to customer drawings and order specifications. Enquiries should include the transformer type, voltage class, rated capacity, winding dimensions, conductor and insulation requirements, terminal arrangement, quantity and inspection plan.

03
Inspection and Traceability

Inspection is defined for each product and delivery stage. It may include incoming-material verification, dimensional measurement, mechanical-property testing, in-process checks, assembly inspection, data logging, production records and batch traceability.

Third-party or SGS reports can be included in the order with the test items, sample plan, acceptance criteria and report format clearly stated.

04
Packaging and Export Preparation

Packaging is selected according to the product, handling method, transport route and storage requirement. Master coils may be prepared using horizontal or vertical packing with protective materials, edge protection, strapping and a suitable base. Finished cores, wound cores, windings and semi-finished assemblies require product-specific protection and secure export packing.
