WSS-M2A175 covers 6000-series aluminum sheet for stamped automotive body parts. Grades A1 to A6 differ in chemistry, strength, formability and paint-bake response, so the right grade depends on the part and its forming route.
Aluminum body parts combine high strength and stiffness with low weight, helping the body keep its shape and absorb impact energy in a collision.
